During Your Sedation

Sedation Dentistry at our San Jose Dental Office involves the use of oral medication that is taken before your treatment. You will be conscious while we perform your dental work and will be aware of your surroundings, but extremely relaxed and free of anxiety. You will be able to respond to questions or instructions, but will have little or no memory of the experience afterwards.

Before your sedation treatment, San Jose Dentist Dr. Karan Mody will explain the process to you so you know what to expect. We will also explain the difference between sedation and sleep dentistry.

Everyone was very nice and the dentist was willing to work on my teeth even though I can barely open my mouth from arthritis in my jaw. He didn’t have xrays done because I told him that the xray plates don’t fit in my mouth. He’s the first person who didn’t pressure me into trying it.

Great service. Amazing staff as well. I needed a tooth filing and my gum was swollen. Dr Mody and his staff were quick to accommodate me the next day and fixed the issue immediately. The treatment is to the point and they never Try to sell unnecessary treatments like other dentists.
